RapidViews are composed of <strong>virtual datamarts<\/strong> or <strong>data counters,<\/strong> <strong>predefined reports<\/strong> and <strong>fact\/dimension tables<\/strong> (HANA Views), which are the foundation of the solution. They are available on the SAP <a href=\"\/en\/business-content-sap\/finance-and-controlling\">FI-CO<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/business-content-sap\/sales-and-distribution\">SD<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/business-content-sap\/material-management\">MM<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/business-content-sap\/production-planning\">PP<\/a> ERP modules.<\/p><p>We estimate that the RapidViews solution covers<strong> on average 70% of the customer&#8217;s BI needs<\/strong> once installed. To cover the remaining 30% of needs and thus satisfy all the additional requests of the customers, we propose to accompany them in the realization of the developments.<\/p><p>To do this, we use a method that is broken down into several stages :<\/p><ul><li>In the first instance we work directly with the client to <strong>understand their needs<\/strong>. This step leads to the generation of technical specifications using a tool included in RapidViews.<\/li><li>At the same time, using the same tool, we <strong>determine which requests are already covered by RapidViews<\/strong> and which ones will need to be added to the model.<\/li><li>Finally, once the developments in HANA Studio and the reporting are completed, we proceed with the <strong>acceptance of the data.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab2479b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ab2479b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Use Case - Creation of an additional view for the order book<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc3c1c5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cc3c1c5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To illustrate this method, we will present the work carried out for one of our clients<strong> in the context of a BI deployment on sales<\/strong> (SD module).<\/p><p>The client expressed the need to create operational &#8220;Order-to-Cash&#8221; (OTC or O2C) reports, i.e. containing all the data from the SD flow: order, delivery and invoicing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2aa48bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2aa48bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Introducing RapidViews SD<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9f9c344 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9f9c344\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Let&#8217;s start by introducing the <a href=\"\/en\/business-content-sap\/sales-and-distribution\">RapidViews of the SD module<\/a>.<\/p><p>There are 4 basic views :<\/p><ul><li>The <strong>sales documents<\/strong> view (F_SALES_ORDER_DV)<\/li><li>The <strong>delivery <\/strong>view (F_DELIVERIES_DV)<\/li><li>The <strong>invoices<\/strong> view (F_BILLING_DV)<\/li><li>The <strong>delivery schedule<\/strong> view (F_SCHEDULE_LINES_DV)<\/li><\/ul><p>These 4 main views are surrounded by other additional views :<\/p><ul><li>A <strong>view for calculating<\/strong> the sales OTIF (F_OTIF_DV), based on a join between the orders view and the deliveries view. The joins required in F_ORDER_BOOK are therefore possible using these two fields.<\/p><p>There is one small subtlety concerning the joins. We want the final view to have a mesh at order item level (one row per order item).
